January 2026 Is Here, Ain't No Lie

Extraordinary, that it should be the start of the year once more. I promised to do more social media at the start of last year and I managed one linked in post last January so I think I can finally conclude that I just don’t have it in me to promote my services!

So 2025 was another fantastic year and I gave my summer update below about the first half of the year. I’ve settled into a routine now (in my 15th year of Bubblehead Media) with a winter update and a summer update and then sometimes get above myself and surprise everyone with an Easter one just to keep you on your toes!

So the 2nd half of the year saw us working more closely with Vertigo Live who are a fantastic company doing amazing things in the sphere of ‘once-in-a-lifetime’experiences in the music arena. So we were lucky enough to head down to Stonehenge for a closed film set starring Spinal Tap with guest stars Eric Clapton, Shania Twain and Josh Groban. I did a lot of editing on that, Kaleo and the incredibly brilliant Christina Aguilera from a Paris extravangaza. Incredible voice and an insanely gorgeous looking show. I enjoyed working with plenty of authors, especially working with the wonderful PR crew at Harper Collins headed by the amazing Liz and enjoyed filming and editing Bernard Cornwell, Agatha Christie Night, Clare Balding to just name a few! I had a fantastic shoot with Ben Miller at his homestead in the country which has an entrance just like the bat entrance from the 60s TV show Batman and Robin (I’m not that old by the way but have seen clips!) It was indeed a funny couple of days as I had the pleasure of filming Charlie Higson in a cool looking studio in Camden courtesy of Orlando and the equally funny Meera Syal on her covershoot. I think it was the same week I got to do my 3rd, possibly 4th shoot with Piers Morgan who regaled us with some very funny tales whilst we were setting up. And if you thought I was finishing talking bout comedians you are indeed wrong as I spent a lovely afternoon walking around Bath filming a very funny and charming author Rachel Parris. I always used to enjoy her updates on the Mash Report… talking of which I come full circle as I’m sure I saw Nish with James Acaster at the Spinal Tap gig. (I did actually do a shoot with James a couple of years ago and thereth endeth my eulogy on comedians and 6 degrees of freedom!)

Another highlight for me was filming Adam Hargreaves and James Pritchard for the Mr Men and Agatha Christie estates as I love great British characters like Miss Marple and say Mr Bump. Oh and I definitely should mention it was fantastic working with Paul and Lauren and the crew at WTW again for a brilliant shoot in Athens this time in October. Well those are the highlights that spring to mind…. get set for summer, will be here faster than you know it! Happy New Year!
